Animal Crossing: City Folk – Halloween
Gameplay video of Animal Crossing: City Folk for Nintendo Wii. This shows the Halloween festival activities, featuring Jack. At the end of the video, I show off the complete set of spooky furniture which you can acquire. The song playing in my house is KK Dirge. Halloween in City Folk takes place on October 31, from 6 pm to midnight. Candy can be bought throughout October from Tom Nook’s store. Unlike the GameCube version, this time around you can go trick-or-treating. Some of the animals will remain in their houses. Go inside while wearing a costume (a matching “look”) and they will give you a piece of candy. Leave and re-enter their house to get as much candy as you need. The candy is used in two ways: 1. To give Jack in exchange for spooky furniture. 2. To give to your neighbors who will destroy an article of clothing you’re wearing or an item you’re carrying if you don’t give them candy. If you’re wearing a costume, they won’t destroy your clothing, but any items in your inventory are at risk if you don’t have candy for them. Note: Items attached to letters are safe. 11-2-09: Honors for this video (1) #86 – Most Discussed (Today) – Gaming

“Care to grease my palm with a little sugar?”
Why does that sound like a very weird pick-up line? XP
i dressed like batman in the first year, then i dressed as a witch XD
i always save my candy from Bunny day for halloween.
Im pissed of!!
All i need is a spooky mirror and i get tons of the same i already got i played halloween 3 times!!!
In 6:37 how did you get your coconut trees far away from the beach
@astrodytoshi: They can be anywhere in the southernmost row of acres. They don’t have to be right next to the beach.
your town is amazing! got any tips on making bells fast?
@JsJpBroadcasts: In general: Plant dozens of foreign fruit trees and sell fruit every day. A good tip for summer is to play at night at catch bugs. Many of the beetles on trees on summer nights are worth a lot of bells. It’s the best way to earn money during the summer (and it’s a lot of fun too).
Has any1 else noticed that Jack is the only trick-or-treater who won’t aproach you?
@RogueMatt151: Of course. That’s how you tell which one he is.
Whats Best Lets Go To The City or City Folks?
@game881: They’re the same game.
@astrodytoshi I think you can just plant them and they grow in city folk/lets go to the city
“Do you see what happens Jeff? Do you see what happens when you don’t have candY?!!
Wow! Great and pretty town! Where did you get all the flowers? And how did you make those paths?
i love halloween and how did you get your town like this?
@ritamariez: Flowers were bought at Nook’s and bred. The paths are patterns from Wendell.
@AshKetchumRawkz: Like what? If you mean the paths, they’re patterns from Wendell.
@jvgsjeff well yes that but everything else too like the falg at your house, that foutain, and the towngate.
@AshKetchumRawkz: You get the flag after paying off all your house expansions. You get the fountain by donating to the town fund. The town gate is random, just like your town fruit or the shape on your grass.
@jvgsjeff ah ok thank you
Whats the piont in getting all the furniture for one holiday it will only last you till x-mas.
@jvgsjeff that mustve taken a long time
Ha, I remember in Animal Crossing: Game Cube they would just put work clothes on you if you didn’t give them candy. Ah, good times. (:
