I Bought a Costume for My Son at the Disney Store..?
Do you thing it would be okay to wash it?? It’s like a velour material. it’s so cute, i just dont want to ruin it. The tag says you can wash it, but sometimes it still messes up the fabric.

if in doubt hand wash it. but i think it would be OK just put it in a pillow case seal it with a rubber band then hang it out to dry when done. They tend to shrink some so i wouldn’t put in dryer.
I washed my daughters Belle costume from the Disney store in the bath tub. It came out as good as new even though her nose had bled all over it!
Hand washing is great for material that you fear being ruined. You can also use the gentle cycle on your washing machine so the agitation isn’t nearly as harsh and won’t destroy the fabric. Or, if in doubt of all of that, have it dry cleaned.
