We just learned that Batman’s car will be upgraded from the standard Lamborghini Murcielago to the Aventador. Movin on up Batman! And in wardrobe news, Anne HAthways character cat woman will be in a costume Quote, unlike any other cat woman customes ever seen. We recently reported that Anne was having some wardrobe issues…you know, the pants splitting incident… We also heard did that her costume would be way more functional than sexy…more like a robber fully loaeded with goggles like the comic. @Charlesperalo Well I’m sure that if they’re not gonna make love (which will be a bummer), there’s no denying there will still be sexual tension between them. It’s always been that way in the comics, cartoons and movies. Selina Kyle is the one true love of Bruce Wayne and the same for their alter-egos. It definitely beats Bruce dating fake invented characters like Chase Meridian and especially the lame Rachel Dawes.
@Mr1131988 Honestly what I’d love Catwomen to be is Batman’s addiction of sorts. He can’t hurt her for she reminds him of her. Yet she’s just an addiction for his mind and sex drive. Yet really this movie should be Nolan’s last for Batman. We all loved Batman Begins with joy and than were blown away by Dark Knight. Now we need Dark Knight Rises to be the best of the best and I think it’ll do it.
I have to disagree with this film being the LAST of the series. Maybe Nolan’s last film but come on do we need another reboot? Anyway what you said about Catwoman and Batman’s relationship, I can’t say it any better. Bruce Wayne/Batman hooks up with all these attractive but dimwitted chicks and the peculiar thing is the one woman he falls for is a reflection of him but is on the other side of the law and he’s conflicted about how he feels and is willing to bend the rules just for her.
@Mr1131988 Oh without question this franchise will continue and movies will pop up. This might be Nolan’s last go around. Really Nolan with Dark Knight and Batman Begins pushed this film above any other superhero movie. Up until that point everyone said we had somewhat good superhero films yet this made us realize they were garbage. Yet the deciding point for Rises will be Bane. If they can do to Bane what they did to Joker we’re in for the film of a decade.

I don’t think Bane can be like Joker. He isn’t dumb like they shamelessly portrayed him to be in Batman and Robin but Joker is Batman’s arch-nemesis. I think the key performance is gonna have to be Catwoman and her story with Batman has to be the main subplot. Batman Begins resurrected this franchise and The Dark Knight made it the highest earning superhero film ever. I hope this latest film is gonna cement Batman as the greatest superhero PERIOD. Better than even Superman or Spiderman.
@Mr1131988 Well I think Batman Begins secured that pretty easily. Yet to Bane being able to beat the Joker. I think he sorta needs to and he can. Remember this character is a genius. So I’d love for them to actually make the Bane in Batman and Robin laugh. Really I’m hoping for someone with an intelligence level that’d make Batman cry. Yet he sorta needs to be sick.
@Charlesperalo True Batman Begins started it all and yet people at that still held Spiderman in higher regard before the disastrous Spiderman 3 in 2007 came out and then The Dark Knight really whooped some ass in the cinemas. Anyway, I’d love Bane to have that depth and to be a big threat to Batman. Maybe like in the comics, he’s gonna end up beating Batman at the end of the film. I’m just a big fan of the Batman/Catwoman angle and I just don’t want Bane to take away from it.
@Mr1131988 Sadly Spiderman 3 was just as bad in my mind. Granted I didn’t pay much attention looking at the pain. Batman Begins was probably the best superhero movie, but Dark Knight was just good enough to get everyone to realize. To Bane well they might stay true and let that happen. Honestly Batman dying to end the Nolan days would really just show this franchise how serious they are. The better thing would be Batman dying and Catwomen replacing him.
@Charlesperalo You and I seem to want the same thing yet want a corresponding different thing too. I don’t think Batman should die at all. Batman has such a complicated life that there’s too much stories to tell. There’s so many villains, Catwoman and Joker are good for more than one film and what about a darker backstory for Robin? You can have more than 20 films about Batman because he has more story than even James Bond. Catwoman can’t carry the Batman franchise alone.
@Mr1131988 Well you must realize I want this one to be the last one for another decade or so. Really just to let the Nolan Batman be 3 awesome movies. So we can move out to other ones. To Catwomen taken over she wont have to, but can. Now Bane maybe should break his back “without killing him” and have Catwomen kill him.
@Charlesperalo Last Batman film in a decade? REALLY??? As a Batman fan, I’ve waited for so long to hae good Batman movie and it finally came in 2005. I’m not willing to have the series end and we have to wait for another new one. If Nolan wants a trilogy, that’s fine but we need a new cast and crew to continue the storied series.

I think this will be the last. It wouldn’t be like Nolan to make another movie when he’s said this will be his last.
I also think Batman will probably die.

I was told that Nolan at first was only to make a Batman prequel, but was talked into making dark knight, then talked into Rises.
Maybe it was just his way of negotiating his pay and always intended on making the entire trilogy. But perhaps he could be persuaded into making more dark Knight films.
I don’t see why movie series have to always follow the trilogy model.
Wouldn’t it be smarter for Batman to drive a less noticeable vehicle or have Gordon taxi him around in the trunk of his car? The Batmobile goes against everything in his ninja training.
